Festi chooses Kepion to manage retail planning

Seattle, WA (Monday, 3rd July, 2017) – Festi, a parent company of Iceland’s major retail chains has acquired Kepion software to enhance their cost and profitability modeling on a single platform. The Festi conglomerate owns and operates four different supermarket chains and one in electronics, respectively known as Krona, Noatum, Bakkinn, Kjarval and Elko. Festi’s vast portfolio totals up to more than 30 stores across Iceland.
Kepion enables Festi to automate intercompany transactions and financial consolidation of its multiple subsidiaries. They can track detailed store history, calculate same-store performance drivers and to analyze seasonal trends, store margins, shrinkage rates, on-line promos, and inventory metrics at the store level among its 5 chains. Using Kepion’s analytical capabilities, Festi has the ability to quickly measure the impacts on its cash flow and P&L for new store openings or potential store closings.
